Getting ready for your virtual visit — easy as 1-2-3.

1

Make sure you are in a safe environment prior to joining your Virtual Visit. Do not drive during your appointment. Please pull over if you are in a vehicle.

2

Make sure your device is ready to go. Check that your device is fully charged and has a web/video camera, speakers, and a microphone.

3

Have tools ready nearby. Depending on your reason for a virtual visit, you may need a flashlight, thermometer, or scale.

Urgent Care

When NOT to use virtual urgent care

  • If the patient is 2 years old or younger
  • If you need a physical exam, lab work, X-rays, or other procedures
  • If you have suffered a serious injury
  • If you are experiencing chest pain, difficulty breathing, or severe abdominal pain

If your symptoms indicate a serious condition, or you are having a possible emergency, go to the nearest emergency care location or call 911.

I really liked the telehealth visit! The doctor was wonderful and explained everything clearly.
