ConvenientMD is proud to celebrate several of its exceptional Bangor nurses who were recognized by the American Nurses Association of Maine (ANA-Maine) through its annual Top Ten Extraordinary Nurses Awards program, honoring dedication, leadership, and impact within Maine’s healthcare community.

Award recipients and nominees were honored during the Third Annual ANA-Maine Scholarship Soirée and Awards Presentation at the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor on Friday, November 15, 2025.

These professionals exemplify the highest standards of dedication, skill, and compassion, serving our communities where they are most needed. ConvenientMD Primary Care, which opened its Bangor location at 689 Broadway this August, joined the existing Urgent Care clinic at 453 Broadway, offering residents seamless access to both ongoing primary care and walk-in urgent care services.

ConvenientMD Urgent Care is excited to announce the opening of its newest clinic at 27 Suffield Street in Agawam last week. Known for delivering fast, affordable, and compassionate care, ConvenientMD treats a wide range of illnesses and injuries. Additional services include youth sports physicals, DOT physicals, IV fluids, vaccinations, and employer health services.

The new, modern facility is designed with patient comfort in mind and features on-site labs, EKGs, and X-rays for fast and accurate diagnoses. Open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., the clinic serves the community’s immediate healthcare needs and accepts most major insurance plans—including WellSense Health Plan in Massachusetts—and offers affordable self-pay options for those without insurance.

ConvenientMD Awards $25,000 in Scholarships to Local High School Students in 2025

ConvenientMD Urgent Care, New England’s leading provider of compassionate, high-quality healthcare, is proud to congratulate the winners of their 2025 Scholarship Program. Twenty-five high school seniors across Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts, who plan to pursue post-secondary education in healthcare, have been awarded $2,500, $1,000 and $500 scholarship awards.

The ConvenientMD 2025 Scholarship Program opened for two months in early March and received over 500 strong applications from high-school seniors dedicated to pursuing education across a variety of healthcare fields.

ConvenientMD to Expand Access to High-Quality Primary Care in New Hampshire and Maine

Customers of Cigna Healthcare plans in New Hampshire and Maine now have access to ConvenientMD Primary Care clinics effective June 23.

ConvenientMD Donates to Local Charities Through Free Flu Shot Program

ConvenientMD, New England’s leading urgent care provider, has once again demonstrated its commitment to community health through its annual Charity Flu Shot Program. This fall, ConvenientMD donated $37,225 to children’s health-focused organizations across Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts, helping to improve the lives of local children and families.

Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Maine – $8,575

Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Maine received a donation of $8,575 to support its mission of providing comfort and care for families with pediatric patients. With locations in Bangor and Portland, Ronald McDonald House offers families private rooms and a supportive, home-like environment close to medical treatment facilities, easing the burdens that come with caring for a sick child.

The Boston House: Hope and Healing for Children with Cancer – $11,300

The Boston House received $11,300 to support its mission of providing families of children with cancer and serious blood disorders with a safe, welcoming environment during their treatment. There, families find comfort and support as they navigate the emotional and physical challenges of childhood cancer.

High Hopes Foundation of New Hampshire – $17,350

The High Hopes Foundation, a New Hampshire-based nonprofit received $17,350 to support its vital work of empowering chronically ill children in New Hampshire by providing life-enriching equipment, experiences, and support. This organization fosters greater independence, inclusion, and joy for children facing serious health challenges.
