What labs can be tested at ConvenientMD?

ConvenientMD can draw for any blood or urine lab orders that do not require specialized specimen handling. If you have further questions regarding the fulfillment of your lab order at ConvenientMD, please call your local clinic before visiting and our Medical Team will be happy to help.

What is the average turnaround time for lab results?
A.
The turnaround time for 85% of labs is 2-3 days. Others may take up to a week depending on the requested testing.
Q.
How are lab results received?
A.
The patient’s ordering provider will receive results directly from LabCorp once complete, and the ordering provider will follow up with the patient if necessary.
Q.
My doctor provided a test request form for a different laboratory. Do you accept lab orders from non-LabCorp test request forms?
A.
Yes – at ConvenientMD we can accept all lab request forms. Please bring the test request form your doctor provided, along with your insurance information and identification.

Do I need to do anything special (e.g., fasting) before my lab test?
A.
Any specific instructions will be provided to you by the ordering provider. If you have any questions, please call your ordering provider or your local ConvenientMD before visiting.

What insurances do you accept for lab testing?
A.

I received a bill from LabCorp, who should I contact?

For more information about a bill you received from LabCorp, please contact their Patient Billing at 800-845-6167.
Q.
How will I be billed for my lab test?
A.
ConvenientMD will not be billing patients for this service at our facilities. Patients will receive a bill directly from LabCorp once they have received reimbursement from the patient’s insurance. Patients without insurance will follow LabCorp’s self-pay schedule.
