To better serve our patients and community in this time of need, ConvenientMD is now offering face-to-face virtual urgent care services with a provider in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts, 8am-8pm, every day.

Patients may be any age; however, if under 18, a legal guardian must be present at the time of the virtual urgent care service.

TO CONSULT WITH A CONVENIENTMD PROVIDER NOW, FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW:


  1. Call 1-833-263-0131
  2. Enroll remotely with an experienced and compassionate medical professional.
  3. Once enrolled, your spot is reserved. Wait in the comfort of your own home and you will receive an email or text alert when the provider is ready to meet with you.
  4. Once you receive the alert, follow the instructions to be seen face-to-face with a ConvenientMD provider.

PLEASE FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO HAVE A SUCCESSFUL VIRTUAL URGENT CARE APPOINTMENT:


  1. Patients will not be seen while driving, if you are in your vehicle please pull over
  2. Use either a Google Chrome, Safari, or Firefox browser
  3. Test your microphone, make sure it's not muted
  4. Check video quality by using "Pre-call Test"
  5. Sit in a well-lit and quiet location, avoid backlight from windows
  6. Make sure that your device is charged
  7. Have access to the following equipment in case it is needed: Flashlight, Thermometer, Scale (or know your child's most recent weight)
  8. Close all unnecessary programs on your device
  9. Hold your camera or aim webcam at eye level
  10. If the patient is under 18, both the patient and parent or guardian need to be visible during the visit

WHEN NOT TO USE VIRTUAL URGENT CARE

If you have suffered a serious injury or have symptoms of a serious condition such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe abdominal pain, or have a possible emergency, go to the nearest emergency care location. If you need a physical examination , lab work, X-rays or other procedures, you need to see a provider in person.

HOW MUCH DOES A VIRTUAL VISIT COST?

In most cases, insurers are waiving out of pocket fees for their members for all COVID-19 related telehealth visits, as well as COVID-19 testing if needed. Some insurers are even waiving out of pocket fees for non-COVID-19 related telehealth visits.
